Welcome to the Bursar Office at Oklahoma Panhandle State University. "Bursar" is a term unique to higher education and means "keeper of the purse." The Bursar Office bills and collects tuition, fees, campus housing, and bookstore charges. The Bursar Office also processes and disburses all federal and campus-based funds to students' bursar accounts and refunds any overpayments on students' bursar accounts.

2018 1098-T Change

In previous years, your 1098-T included an amount in Box 2 that represented the qualified tuition and related expenses (QTRE) we billed to your bursar account for the calendar (tax) year. Due to a change to institutional reporting requirements under federal law, beginning with tax year 2018, we will report in Box 1 the amount of QTRE you paid during the year. Credit Card Convenience Fee to Increase

The convenience fee for the processing of credit card payments will increase from 2.75% to 2.85% beginning May 1, 2018. Electronic check payments do not include a convenience fee.

WebCheck now Available in Guest Payment!

We are pleased to announce that we are now offering the convenience of WebCheck payment method through Guest Payment. There is no convenience fee for WebCheck. WebCheck may also be referred to as electronic check.


You can add your eRefund account in your MyOnlineBilling to receive your refund by direct deposit to the bank account of your choice. You will still need to pick up your paper refund check at the Business Office if you do not set up eRefund.
